Celia first met yoga when she was going through a tough period of her life. It quickly became a consistent source of comfort. Since completing her initial 200 Hours Yoga Teacher training, she has been constantly upgrading her skills, attending courses in yoga therapy, anatomy, and Thai massage, among many others over the years.
Currently pursuing her post graduate studies in Psychology, Celia aims to one day become a registered psychologist and hopes to marry both of her passions, Yoga and Psychology.
Her teaching style is thus influenced by her knowledge in Psychology, Yoga, and Massage, and can be described as a fusion of yoga, mindfulness, and good alignment. Massage balls are often utilised in her classes to enable students to experience self myofascial release. She hopes to enable practitioners to feel free and safe on their mats to practice whatever yoga may mean to them that day. After all, it is not about just touching your toes; it is about what you learn and feel on the way down.
