Alex has been interested in developing a conscious mind, body and heart connection for as long as she can remember. At a very early age, she competed as a gymnast for Great Britain until the age of 18 and then went on to train as a professional contemporary dancer, all whilst being influenced by a very spiritual and connected mother who took her along to meditation circles as a kid and attuned her to Reiki at the age of 14.
Alex started practising yoga about 10 years ago and completed her first teacher training in 2014. She has been teaching ever since and has had the privilege to travel the world doing so, including to Switzerland, Portugal, Australia and now here in Auckland.
Alex's intention is always to inspire and to empower people to develop a deeper, more nurturing and authentic connection to self and the world around them, to help balance mind, body and heart and to lead a more compassionate, loving and fulfilling life. She always encourages individuals to stay true to themselves and to go at their own pace, offering adjustments and guidance along the way. Her classes are strong but calm, grounded, authentic and nurturing.
