Tibetan Yoga and Meditation

Based on Tibetan teachings for living in harmony with physical and universal laws, this practice develops our ability to heal and energise our entire being. The practice includes stillness, movement, postures, breathing exercises, self massage, chanting and visualisation.
The practice promotes deep relaxation in both body and mind and opens a path of spiritual development in the midst of daily life, laying a foundation for meditative practices. It co-ordinates and integrates the physical body and senses with the mind and intellect, gradually developing stillness, presence and vitality.
We will learn how to stimulate the nerves and the body centres (chakras) through simple postures and movements. Through this, blockages can release and chakras open so that streams of energy can flow through them supporting vitality, creativity and wholeness, which express the abundance of the human spirit.
From within calm and relaxed states of well-being there naturally arises the knowledge and strength we need to guide our lives.
